Empathy :- You feel others situation in their own position and try to understand and help or advice.

Sympathy :- You actually have a opinion about others situation depending on your relation with that person and the perception of the situation with your experience.

This post is not about the definitions of these but it is all about the cost you are going to pay of having any one them. Actually speaking you may not bother about others situation which will not cost you anything. But life is like a wheel it turns and sometime it will stop in front of you where you have to act other wise you may lose so many things; this basic fear makes human a social animal who cares for at least his fellow friends and family or community members.

Costliest option among three

Don’t Care – No cost

Sympathy – Some Cost

Empathy – Costliest

First option no explanation needed. Second one most of the time your sympathy stops at the level of your experience in life and relations. So it can never be costlier than empathy; which is by nature gets maximum out of you as you are feeling the situation as the actual person in that situation.

This is not a rocket science but there is some lesson to learn from this, you can be empathetic to others but be careful in helping because the person who cannot make use of your help and get good things out of life can take you into deep troubles. If you still cannot understand this post just post your doubts in comments I will try to answer them.

Good Luck

I am asking you “why we fear to fail?”

You know the answer? yes or no, what ever it is – we fear to fail because we have been grilled by our parents , guardians or seniors that failure is the most shameful thing to happen in our life. But actually it is not.

Don’t think me as crazy, I am telling you by experience. This is a fact and you will be surprised to know that most successful persons were almost thrown out by society as failures. Yes you show me one successful person who built his or her life without an episode of failure, if you show me I agree that failure is not required to achieve success.

Let me remind you while showing me the person who has achieved success without failure don’t show me how is supported by whole world to carry on the work and failure has been linked others and success is attached to that successful human.

I am a professional and I know what is failure and also know how “the fear of failure kills YOU”. I can show you practically happening everywhere on this earth, so lesson learnt is; don’t bother about self pride, failure, others comments and future instability, if you do you will lose today’s stability.

I hope I made my point clear. If you need simple formula for crisis management then read this here. Good Luck see you with more valuable posts.

Yes, I told it as “crisis management simple formula” , don’t get surprised because most of the complicated things will have simple answers. Considering the complicated things crisis is considered to be one of the complicated things. So its more likely to have simple answer than the complicated one. SO why don’t you try this any of the crisis you want to come out of it.

Here we go step by step-

1. Just think about the worst possible effect of your crisis
2. Now think about best possible out-come if you don’t act
3. Based on no 1 and 2 you decide what you want out of the crisis
4. Now its time act – its just like reverse engineering any thing, you know what you want you just put energy required to complete it, so you have saved time, money, energy and best of all you the solution what you want out of the crisis.

I know the its easier said than done but that’s the way it should be. Watch for some exciting posts which are coming up.

How to keep yourself motivated even in crisis? If you ask anyone who don’t have any crisis at that moment will tell you best solution, even though they also know its easier said than done. That is human nature, try to console one in front of them so that they feel good about doing some thing good ( but this may not be always true).

So then whom to ask for the answer?

Best person to give solution your crisis is self Yes that’s you the person matters the most. If you have doubt I would request you to try your self and then believe. Don’t get me wrong here, every person has his or her own preferences over others. So intentionally or unintentionally everyone of us have our own favorite – pass-time, stress busters, games, musics, work (need not be what we do from 9 to 5) etc.

Do you think I am getting delinked from the main topic? No I am not. Give me some time to explain, just think of crisis (assume the one you had or you don’t want that to happen) then just see what all options you had as solution for that crisis. If you have correctly analyzed then sequence would be like -

- you thought of one solution but not impressive
- Solution some one suggested but looks impressive

You gone ahead with others solution and mid way changed over to you own way of solving it (mostly after you thought you were confident enough to tackle the problem). Then you completed it. Am I correct? most probably yes.

Now dissect the above written process, you had lack of confidence yourself so opted for others solution but once you are in that solving groove you took your own way. That shows every one loves there own way of solution to all problems depending upon there level of understanding the problem and ability to tackle it. Most of the time in crisis your favorite things comes handy (that why I mentioned above, few of the favorites anyone have). They help you to keep you calm and relaxed enough to cope-up with crisis and solving the problem in shortest time possible.

So get your self ready for “crisis management simple formula” in next post, good luck bye.
